Description: The Xtreme Accu-Tach has a bright LED display that only displays the stored information in memory when the DISPLAY button has been pushed.
The order of information is (The Highest RPM Achieved), ( Low average RPM), ( High Average RPM) and then the ramp time your car took to go from the lowest RPM to the Highest RPM in Second and tenths of seconds.
The Average RPM is calculated by taking all low or high readings from the last five laps then removing the lowest and highest RPM’s and showing the average reading.
The Xtreme Accu-Tach will work with 4,6, & 8 cylinder engine using Magnetos or MSD ignition systems. It work up to 25,000 RPM on V 8 Engines and uses a standard 9 volt battery.
What can be done with the DISPLAY switch?
By pushing the DISPLAY switch while the engine is off will display the information stored in memory.
By pushing the DISPLAY switch while the engine is running it will display the current RPM for 15 seconds.
By pushing the DISPLAY button for five seconds will clear the memory of the Xtreme Accu-Tach.
How do I wire the Accu-Tach to my car?
The WHITE wire picks up the RPM information. Attach this wire to the Orange wire on your ON / OFF switch for MSD users. Connect the BLACK wire to the black wire on the ON /OFF switch or the engine block.
